Poison Ring

I've been hunting for the perfect wedding band(s) for the past year and can't make up my mind.  I have a tiny budget, but I want something pretty simple so that isn't too much of a problem.  I love sparkly things so I tried on a diamond band last week just to make sure I didn't want to go in that direction, but my hands looked like a tomboy in a sequin dress.  Later that afternoon, as I built garden beds and did yard work, I realized precious gems do not belong on my fingers.

Today I saw this ring and I'm so bummed that it is already sold.  I think this ring would be an exception to the "two simple plain bands" decision that I think I came to for my wedding rings. It has a secret chamber for poison!

New 2-Color "Tribe" Print on Pillows

I designed the Tribe print this summer, but just got a chance to try screen printing it.  I was a little scared of trying a 2-color, but it worked without a hitch!  I'll be posting some more in different colors later this week.  Purchase these pillows as a SET of 2 and save a couple bucks!

New Items in my Shop: Zip Pouches

Need a little zippered pouch to hold your pencils, makeup, or your point & shoot camera?

Search no more - you can get exactly what you need for a mere $16 and it's 100% handmade (well, except for the fabric, zipper & thread - I'm not Superwoman).

This pouch is carefully constructed from heavy duty cotton fabric that has been hand screen printed with my grid pattern in white ink.   Each pouch is lined with a colorful, coordinating fabric.

The pouch is secured with a black plastic YKK zipper and opens to 9". Approximate dimensions:  9" x 6".

New Pillows in the Shop

I added more pillows to the shop - lots of navy blue and a brand new pattern too!  I originally made this grid pattern for my zip pouches, but tried it out on a pillow one and day and realized it looked great centered in the middle of the square.

All pillows are $26 and come stuffed.  However, the pillow cover is totally removeable in case you ever have to give it a good cleaning.
